Welcome to Pineapple Diary.

Hi, I'm Ricarda. I’m happy you found your way to my little portfolio blog. If you are here to find out something about pineapples, I’m sorry. This site has nothing to do with pineapples in the slightest way, but maybe you want to stay anyways and take a look through this creative space I'm building for myself. As I really struggled to find out who I am as an artist, I started writing about the projects and the choices I did along my drawing process, about art in general and my thoughts on becoming an artist/illustrator. So it became a habit to always have a notebook besides me while drawing. That's when the idea of pineapple diary was evolving. It's something in between a blog/portfolio/sketchbook site.
As I'm not a full time illustrator and still have a day job (somehow that sounds like I am some kind of superhero "Normal person by day, illustrator by night") I am not able to present you with super fancy photos or videos of my art. But I figured, if I can only shoot bad photos, they should be consistently bad. I hope you still enjoy looking/reading some of my stuff. Please bare in mind that the site is still evolving and changing.

By the way. I'm not a native english speaker, so I apologize for any grammatical mistakes. And yes I don't run my text through AI. So this is the pure grammatically challanged me ;)
